According to Official Dispatch 2038/TLD-QHLD dated September 10, 2024, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor requests the provincial and city Labor Confederations, Central sectoral labor unions and equivalent, as well as the labor unions of General Corporations under the General Confederation to actively ascertain the situation and support the members and workers with the highest, fastest, and most prompt spirit, directly to the families of those affected by No. 3 typhoon in Vietnam. To be specific:

(1) Actively propose in writing to the Golden Heart Fund to support members and workers affected by No. 3 typhoon (according to the Fund's regulations) for the following individuals:

- Members and workers who lost their lives due to the typhoon: VND 10 million per deceased person.

(2) For localities and sectors directly affected by No. 3 typhoon, based on the level of property damage (roof damage, swept away by floods, landslides, houses that need immediate repair...), promptly support members and workers to overcome the consequences and stabilize their lives with support ranging from VND 1 million to VND 3 million per case (from accumulated financial resources for regular expenses).

(3) For localities and sectors unable to balance the resources, send a written request to the General Confederation for support based on the actual situation (the written request should clearly state the individuals, extent of damage, and specific support levels).

The provincial and city Labor Confederations, Central sectoral unions, and labor unions of General Corporations under the General Confederation are requested to urgently implement and execute this directive.
