Supplementing TH for unexpected inspection of foreign investment activities in Vietnam

On February 14, 2022, the Ministry of Planning and Investment issued Circular 02/2022/TT-BKHDT guiding the supervision and assessment of investment for foreign investment activities in Vietnam.

Accordingly, additional cases of unexpected inspection of foreign investment activities in Vietnam are added, specifically:

Unscheduled inspection: carried out on a case-by-case basis, on the basis of management requirements and the actual situation, or on the basis of requests and feedbacks from agencies, organizations and individuals on problems encountered in the project. the process of implementing investment activities or in the process of organizing the implementation of laws and policies on foreign investment or there are signs of violations in investment activities of foreign-invested economic organizations and projects. projects with foreign investment.

(Compared to the present, additional cases of unexpected inspection: there are signs of violations in investment activities of foreign-invested economic organizations and foreign-invested projects)

In addition, there are 02 other forms of inspection of foreign investment activities: periodical inspection and specialized inspection.

For details, see Circular 02/2022/TT-BKHDT which takes effect from April 1, 2022 and replaces Circular 09/2016/TT-BKHDT .
