Supplementing regulations on report on use of railway vehicles in Vietnam

Recently, the Minister of Transport of Vietnam has issued the Circular No. 24/2020/TT-BGTVT on amendments to certain articles of circulars on periodic reporting regulations in the railway sector.

Regulations on report on use of railway vehicles specified in Article 13 of Circular No. 21/2018/TT-BGTVT are amended by Circular No. 24/2020/TT-BGTVT of the Ministry of Transport of Vietnam as follows:

- Report name: Report on use of railway vehicles.

- Required reporting contents:

+ The use and operation of means issued Certificates of registration of railway vehicles;

+ Changes of railway vehicles.

- Reporting entities: Owners of railway vehicles.

- Receiving authority: Vietnam Railway Authority.

- Methods of submission and reception of reports: Periodic reports can be physical documents or electronic documents and shall be sent directly or by post, by email or other methods as prescribed by law.

- Deadline for submission of reports: on December 15 every year or a specific date on request.

- Time for finalizing reporting data: From December 15 of the previous year to December 14 of the reporting year or another specific time as required.

- Reporting forms: According to Appendix 7 issued with Circular No. 21/2018/TT-BGTVT.

Previously, Circular No. 21/2018/TT-BGTVT of the Ministry of Transport of Vietnam only stipulated reporting contents, reporting entities, receiving authority and deadline for submission of reports.
