Subsidize Covid-19 examination and treatment costs to members of overseas Vietnamese agencies

Recently, the Government issued Resolution 98/NQ-CP on subsidy on COVID-19 examination and treatment costs to members of overseas Vietnamese agencies.

Entities eligible for State Budget support for costs of COVID-19 examination and treatment beyond the scope of payment under the insurance policy signed between Bao Viet Insurance Corporation include:

- Members of overseas Vietnamese agencies (officials and public employees, employees on payroll of the state budget; commissioned officers, professional soldiers, public employees and employees receiving on payroll of the state budget working in the armed forces), sent by competent authorities to work for a term at overseas Vietnamese agencies in accordance with law in Vietnam.

- Spouses sent to work for a term accompanying members of overseas Vietnamese agencies.

- Minor children accompanying members of overseas Vietnamese agencies.

Duration: from the declaration of the COVID-19 pandemic to the end of the epidemic outbreak by the host government where the overseas Vietnamese agency is headquartered.
