Studying amendments to regulations on incentives for managers and workers in state-owned enterprises in Vietnam

This is the content of the Government's Resolution No. 68/NQ-CP dated May 12, 2022 on continuing to innovate and improve the efficiency of state enterprises in Vietnam and focusing on economic groups and corporations in socio-economic development.

Accordingly, in order to create favorable conditions for the State enterprises production and business activities, the Government of Vietnam requests the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Vietnam to perform the following tasks:

 

- Studying and submitting to the Government amendments to regulations on management of employees, salaries and bonuses for managers and employees of state enterprises in Vietnam;

 

- The amendments to the Decree No. 51/2016/ND-CP, 52/2016/ND-CP and 53/2016/ND-CP shall be carried out in the second quarter of 2022 according to the market principles in Vietnam.

 

Resolution No. 68/NQ-CP also prescribes the central tasks set by the Government with a view to perfecting the institutions and policies on nomination, such as:

 

- To study and formulate mechanisms and policies on wage according to the market principle in association with labor productivity and production and business efficiency, especially for holders of titles, positions and representatives of state capital portions at enterprises in Vietnam;

 

In particular, ensure the conformity with the operating outcome, business conditions, business lines and characteristics of the enterprise in Vietnam.

 

- To renew the management of holders of posts and titles at enterprises in order to recruit or hire high-quality human resources;

 

- Studying and proposing appropriate mechanisms to increase resources for state enterprises from after-tax profits and other lawful capital sources for investment in important, effective and efficient projects, thus raising the production and business capacity in Vietnam;
