Students, pupils, and educational institutions must sign commitments on drug prevention and control

The Ministry of Education and Training has just issued Official Dispatch 2307/BGDDT-GDCTHSSV regarding the organization of high point activities for crime prevention and law violations, in response to the Action Month for Drug Prevention and Control in 2020.

The Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) requests the Department of Education and Training, and the schools to direct and organize the implementation of a peak campaign to prevent and combat crimes and law violations, in response to the Action Month for Drug Prevention and Control in 2020 in the Education sector, focusing on the following tasks and solutions:

- Effectively implement Decision 987/QD-BGDDT; Plan 370/KH-BGDDT;

- Intensify propaganda and raise awareness of students (HSSV) about crime and social evils prevention. Propagate the consequences and harmful effects of using, trading, storing, transporting narcotics; the harmful effects of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances; natural-origin narcotics, synthetic drugs, common types such as "ecstasy", "paper stamps", "American grass", "laughing gas”... raising awareness for students (HSSV);

- Organize for students (HSSV), collectives, and units to sign a commitment to resolutely prevent drugs;
