Structure of the Management Board of the public service unit in the fields of planning, investment, and statistics in Vietnam

The number and structure of members of the Management Board of the public service unit in the fields of planning, investment, and statistics in Vietnam are as follows:

- The Management Board has from 05 to 11 members, depending on the characteristics of each unit, including the Chairman of the Management Board and members of the Management Board (Secretary of the Management Board, members of the Management Board; depending on task requirements, the Management Board may have a Vice Chairman of the Management Board). The term of office of a member of the Management Board shall not exceed 05 (five) years.

- Membership structure of the Management Board:

+ The Chairman of the Management Board is the leadership representative of the public service unit or representative of the superior management agency of the public service unit (representatives of ministries, agencies, and organizations for public service units under ministries, agencies, and organizations; representatives of the Provincial People's Committee for public service units under the Provincial People's Committee; representative of the leadership of the Department, Board, or unit (for public service units under the Department, Board, or unit); or representative of the direct superior management agency (if any) shall be considered and decided by the competent person.

+ Representative of the superior management agency and the immediate superior of the public service unit (in case the Chairman of the Management Board is the leadership representative of the public service unit) or representative of the leadership of a public service unit (in case the Chairman of the Management Board is a representative of the superior management agency or the direct superior).

+ Secretary of the Management Board.

+ Representatives of party committees, trade union presidents, youth union secretaries, and leaders of affiliated departments and divisions (if any). In the event that there is no affiliated organization, a representative of the public service unit shall be appointed to participate in the Management Board.

+ Representatives of organizations with related interests (if any).

- The number, structure, and specific composition of the Management Board members are decided by the head of the agency competent to approve the autonomy project of the public service unit.
