Strict Handling of Acts of Refusing or Evading Medical Quarantine for Covid-19

This is the notable content stipulated in Official Dispatch 297/TTRB-P1 on continuing to strengthen the inspection and examination work on Covid-19 pandemic prevention and control.

The Inspectorate of the Ministry of Health requests the Directors of the Departments of Health of provinces/cities directly under the Central Government to direct attention to detect and strictly handle cases such as:

- Failing to report and quarantine according to the regulations and guidelines of the Health sector;- Failing to strictly comply with the Prime Minister’s regulations on the temporary closure of non-essential service establishments; gathering more than 10 people outside offices, schools, and hospitals;- Hoarding, smuggling drugs, chemicals, medical supplies, and other essential goods;- Posting advertisements for Covid-19 testing without the permission of the Ministry of Health.

In addition, the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Health also requests strict handling of violations according to the provisions of Decree 176/2013/ND-CP on administrative penalties in the field of health (focusing extensively on the regulations from Article 7 to Article 11).
