Strengthening the management of entrants in centralized quarantine areas in Vietnam

This is a notable content in Official Telegram 1640/CD-BCD of the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control regarding the enhancement of management of entrants in centralized quarantine facilities.

to strictly control cases of entry, especially for experts coming to work in Vietnam, preventing the spread of the disease into the community, the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control requests the Ministry of National Defense of Vietnam and the People's Committees of provinces and cities to closely monitor the implementation of quarantine measures for entry cases to prevent infection during the quarantine period and at quarantine facilities.

Particularly note: Do not allow unauthorized persons to enter quarantine areas or to contact those in quarantine. Persons in quarantine are not allowed to leave the quarantine area, and strict measures should be taken against violating organizations and individuals. After completing the centralized quarantine period, continue to strictly monitor health for the next 14 days and require entry cases to limit contact with others, frequently implement personal protective measures, etc.
