Strengthen discipline, enhance inspection, improve strict institutional framework to 'prevent Corruption, Wastefulness, Negativity' in Vietnam

The Politburo of Vietnam has acknowledged that although corruption and negativity have been curbed and reduced in tendency, numerous serious incidents still occur, causing significant losses to the state and the people.

To enhance educational activities focused on diligence, thrift, integrity, righteousness, impartiality among cadres, party members, and the people... in the upcoming period, party committees and organizations are urged to concentrate leadership, direction, and effectively implement the following key tasks and solutions:

To widely propagate, making cadres, party members, and the population recognize that diligence, thrift, integrity, righteousness, impartiality are foremost ethical qualities of cadre and party members, officials, and public employees, and the urgency of educating and practicing diligence, thrift, integrity, righteousness, impartiality within the Communist Party, the political system, and society; to raise awareness and responsibilities of party committees, organizations, authorities, and leaders in leading, directing, and organizing the implementation of the Communist Party's regulations and state laws on educating and practicing diligence, thrift, integrity, righteousness, impartiality.

To firmly link educational work on diligence, thrift, integrity, righteousness, impartiality with the construction and rectification of the Communist Party, especially cadre work, the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style; implementing the Communist Party's regulations on setting examples, revolutionary moral standards of cadres, party members in the new phase.

To simultaneously implement the four major guidelines: Strengthening education on diligence, thrift, integrity, righteousness, impartiality so that "there is no desire for corruption, waste, negativity" in tandem with tightening discipline, enhancing inspection, supervision, control of power, perfecting a strict institutional framework so that "corruption, waste, negativity are impossible"; enforcing violations without exemptions, without exceptions so that "there is no daring to corrupt, waste, be negative"; improving the living standards of cadres, party members, officials, public employees, and workers so that "there is no need to corrupt, be negative."
