(1) Principles of Integration

- The climate change response content integrated into strategies and planning is based on the analysis of climate change scenarios, assessment of the impacts of climate change, determination of climate change adaptation solutions, and must be reflected in the objectives, content, and socio-economic indicators of the strategies and planning.

(2) Integration Requirements

- Ensure consistency and synchronization with climate change adaptation policies, national, sectoral, and local development orientations; involve relevant stakeholders; promote gender equality, and encourage the diversification and effective use of resources;

- Comprehensive, objective, inter-disciplinary, and inter-regional consideration based on scientific and technological achievements, national and international practical experiences, natural conditions, socio-economic status, and national and local resources;

Utilize the positive impacts and minimize the negative impacts of climate change;

- Align with the objectives, scope, and content of strategies and planning at various levels, sectors, and fields, and the natural, socio-economic characteristics of the localities; ensure feasibility, effectiveness, and sustainability.
