The Ministry of Health has just issued Circular 34/2021/TT-BYT stipulating standards, uniforms and cards of persons assigned to perform the task of specialized health inspection.
Accordingly, health inspectors must fully meet the following criteria:
(1) Being a civil servant on the payroll of an agency assigned to perform the specialized inspection function (hereinafter referred to as a specialized inspection officer) who fully meets the conditions and criteria as prescribed by the current civil servant rank. and the following specific standards:
- Knowledge of the law, expertise appropriate to the field assigned to perform specialized inspection tasks;
- Having professional inspection skills;
- Having at least 01 year of professional work in the field assigned to perform specialized inspection tasks (excluding the probationary period).
(2) Possessing a certificate of professional training for inspectors or higher, for those who have worked at a state inspection agency or a certificate of professional training in specialized medical inspection in the field in which they are assigned to perform their duties. service.
(Compared with the current one, the requirement to have a bachelor's degree or higher relevant to expertise in the industry or field assigned to perform specialized inspection tasks is removed).
Circular 34/2021/TT-BYT takes effect from February 15, 2022, replacing Circular 39/2015/TT-BYT and Decision 715/QD-BYT .
