Standards for Reading, Listening, and Viewing to Examine Deposited Press Materials

On April 03, 2020, the Ministry of Information and Communications promulgated Circular 06/2020/TT-BTTTT issuing the standards for reading, listening, and viewing to inspect deposited press materials.

The reading norms for printed newspapers per day in A4 size pages are as follows:

- Printed newspapers: Vietnamese is 78 pages, Foreign languages is 47 pages, Ethnic languages is 40 pages, Bilingual is 43 pages;- Photojournalism: Vietnamese is 165 pages, Foreign languages is 104 pages, Ethnic languages is 89 pages, Bilingual is 96 pages.

For listening and viewing examination of television and radio news, the norms per day are as follows:

- Television programs: Vietnamese is 300 minutes, Foreign languages is 176 minutes, Ethnic languages is 150 minutes, Bilingual is 162 minutes;- Radio programs: Vietnamese is 250 minutes, Foreign languages is 147 minutes, Ethnic languages is 125 minutes, Bilingual is 135 minutes.
