Furnishings for villas and apartments in urban areas designated as official residences under the Ministry of Defense include:

- Living room set and TV stand;- Air conditioner;- Dining table and chairs, refrigerator, kitchen cabinets, stove set, and exhaust hood;- Wardrobe, bed, mattress, washing machine, water heater;- 1 personal working desk and chair set.

The maximum budget for interior decoration is stipulated as follows:

- 1-bedroom, 1-living room official apartment: 120 million VND;- 2-bedroom, 1-living room official apartment: 160 million VND;- 3-bedroom, 1-living room official apartment: 200 million VND;- 4-bedroom villa, 1-living room, 1-working room: 250 million VND.

Note: Equipment and furnishings for official residences must have a minimum usage lifespan of 5 years.

Circular 68/2017/TT-BQP is effective from May 16, 2017.
