On August 1, 2024, the Minister of Transport issued Circular 29/2024/TT-BGTVT stipulating the conditions, standards, uniforms, and cards of inspectors for individuals assigned to perform specialized transport inspections; duties and powers of agencies performing the function of transport sector inspection in Vietnam.
Pursuant to the regulations stated in Article 10 of Circular 29/2024/TT-BGTVT, the standards and duration for providing uniforms to transport sector inspectors in Vietnam are as follows:
- Uniforms provided by life expectancy:
+ Autumn and winter attire:
++ From Thua Thien - Hue and above: 01 set, issued every 02 years (initial issuance 02 sets)
++ From Da Nang and below: 01 set, issued every 04 years (initial issuance 01 set)
+ Spring and summer attire:
++ From Thua Thien - Hue and above: 01 set, issued annually (initial issuance 02 sets)
++ From Da Nang and below: 02 sets, issued annually (initial issuance 02 sets)
+ Overcoat: 01 item, issued every 04 years (initial issuance 01 item)
+ Long-sleeve shirt: 01 item, issued annually (initial issuance 02 items)
+ Leather shoes: 01 pair, issued every 02 years (initial issuance 01 pair)
+ Sandals with back straps: 01 pair, issued annually (initial issuance 01 pair)
+ Leather belt: 01 item, issued every 02 years (initial issuance 01 item)
+ Socks: 02 pairs, issued annually (initial issuance 02 pairs)
+ Tie: 02 items, issued every 04 years (initial issuance 02 items)
+ Raincoat: 01 set, issued annually (initial issuance 01 set)
+ Rubber boots: 01 pair, issued annually (initial issuance 01 pair)
+ Helmet: 01 item, issued every 02 years (initial issuance 01 item)
+ Document bag: 01 item, issued every 02 years (initial issuance 01 item)
- Lump-sum provided uniforms: kepi hat, pine branch hat, nameplate, insignia. In cases where one-time provided uniforms become old, damaged, lost, or there is a change in position, reissuance is permitted.
- Based on specific regional conditions, the head of the agency assigned the function of sectoral inspection under the Ministry of Transport may decide to convert the overcoat and autumn-winter attire into 02 spring-summer shirts or convert the overcoat into an autumn-winter shirt supplemented with an extra cotton layer to suit weather conditions.
