Below is the content of Circular 71/2022/TT-BTC dated December 22, 2022, regulating the management and use of non-business funds to implement the Program to preserve and promote sustainably the value of Vietnam's cultural heritage in the 2021-2025 period and Vietnam Cultural Heritage Digitization Program for the period of 2021-2030.
According to Vietnam's Circular 71/2022/TT-BTC, the spending for the program on conservation and sustainable promotion of the value of Vietnam's cultural heritage in the 2021-2025 period include the following:
- Propaganda, introduction, and promotion of cultural heritage;
- To implement preservation, restoration, and restoration planning for UNESCO-registered heritages and ranked special national monuments.
- To assist in the maintenance and repair of anti-degradation and urgent renovation of national monuments in Vietnam;
- To implement projects to embellish display contents, upgrade equipment, and improve the museum display system;
- To implement programs, projects, tasks, and plans to protect and promote the value of intangible cultural heritage and documentary heritage of typical value.
- To implement programs, projects, and tasks to promote the application of science and technology in professional work and management in the field of museums, monuments, intangible cultural heritage, and documentary heritage (display, interpretation, preservation, repair, restoration, practice, transmission);
- To hire ethnic language interpreters who are also guides or guides who are not interpreters for field trips, investigations, surveys, the collection of artifacts, and interviews with historical witnesses to collect information about artifacts and exhibitions in Vietnam.
Vietnam's Circular 71/2022/TT-BTC takes effect on January 8, 2023.
