Specialized inspection content for the Department of Education and Training of Vietnam from February 10, 2025

The specialized inspection content for the Department of Education and Training of Vietnam is defined as follows:

- The advisory role to the District People's Committee in presenting to the People's Council at the same level decisions, plans, programs, and educational development projects in the area, aligning with the provincial education development strategy and local socio-economic development plans.

- Leading and cooperating with relevant agencies in presenting to the District People's Committee:

+ Issuing guidance documents and organizing the implementation of educational legal documents; plans, programs, and educational development projects within the management scope in the area after being approved by the competent authority; plans for implementing the Scheme for innovating the curriculum and textbooks for general education in the district, aligning with the provincial plan; legal documents on education within the competence; suspending operations of educational institutions as per the decentralization;

+ Approving the Scheme for rearranging and reorganizing educational institutions within the management scope in the area appropriate to the local practical conditions, meeting the conditions for ensuring educational quality.

- Leading and cooperating with relevant agencies to implement the state management function of the District People's Committee on education as per the Government of Vietnam's decentralization.

- Implementing the recruitment, utilization, and training for teachers, educational management officials, and staff in public educational institutions under the jurisdiction of the District People's Committee in accordance with legal regulations when authorized.

- Managing teaching and educational activities both inside and outside the school; directing the implementation of activities related to ethical education, lifestyle, school safety; organizing the implementation of plans for the Scheme to innovate the curriculum and textbooks for general education; conducting and directing educational communication tasks in the area.

- Regularly updating information about the teachers and educational management officials within the management scope into the education sector database. Fully and promptly carrying out periodic annual reports on publicizing the local educational sector under the management scope with the District People's Committee and the Department of Education and Training according to regulations.

- Issuing directives within the competence; propagating and disseminating legal education on education.

- Directing and conducting inspection tasks, resolving complaints, addressing accusations, preventing corruption, reporting, statistical tasks, and publicizing education for educational institutions under the management authority of the District People's Committee.

- Performing other tasks as prescribed by law.
