Shortening the Processing Time for Land-Related Administrative Procedures at Local Levels

This is the directive from the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam in Directive 01/CT-TTg on rectifying and strengthening land management and the development of a land information system.

In order to address the shortcomings in the implementation of the Land Law in various localities, the Prime Minister requests the Chairmen of the People's Committees of provinces and cities to focus on implementing the following key contents:

- Intensify the reform of land administrative procedures (TTHC) at local levels, such as: shortening the time for implementation, abolishing non-conformable documents that cause inconvenience for citizens and businesses;- Resolve outstanding cases such as unregistered land, delays in issuing and delivering Certificates to citizens;- Quickly complete the adjustment of land use planning until 2020 at various levels;- Strengthen the investigation of areas with a high risk of landslides, posing a threat to the lives of residents, thereby relocating people from the dangerous zones.
