Requirements on compiling documents used in kindergartens in Vietnam

On November 5, 2021, the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam promulgated Circular 30/2021/TT-BGDĐT stipulating compilation, evaluation, approval, and selection of materials for use in early childhood education institutions.

According to the Circular, individuals participating in document compilation must meet the following requirements:

- Must have a university degree or higher;

- Have expertise appropriate to the compiled material;

- Having worked for at least 05 years in a professional field suitable to the content of the document;

- Knowledge of early childhood education;

- Have good moral character.

In addition, the organization participating in the compilation of documents is an organization established in accordance with the law of Vietnam, having the function of management, business or activities in the field of education; has a team of editors to meet the above requirements.

The compilation of documents is carried out in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Publication and the Law on Intellectual Property of Vietnam. At the same time, organizations and individuals compiling documents must ensure the requirements for documents, for example, the content and form of the document are suitable for culture, history, geography, ethics, fine customs and traditions of Vietnam; ensure the scientific, pedagogical and aesthetic qualities, associated with the conditions for the implementation of the Early Childhood Education Program in the localities; Ensuring Children's Rights...
