Recently, the Ministry of Information and Communications issued Circular 03/2019/TT-BTTTT stipulating the publication and broadcast of external information content in the press.

Information regarding significant issues of Vietnam and the world:

After receiving viewpoints from the Government of Vietnam, the publication and broadcasting of information will be carried out as follows:- On the front page for print newspapers;- Home page for electronic newspapers;- News bulletins for foreign radio and television channels.

Regarding publication time:- No later than 2 hours for electronic newspapers;- 5 hours for electronic newspapers requiring translation;- 24 hours for print newspapers;- Broadcast during the next news bulletin for foreign radio and television channels.

For explanatory and clarifying information:- It will be published and broadcast in easily accessible positions at the earliest time. For other external information content, it will be published and broadcast within the day.
