On October 12, 2022, the Minister of Science and Technology of Vietnam issued Circular 15/2022/TT-BKHCN on the National Program to support enterprises to improve productivity and quality of products and goods in the period of 2021-2030.
According to Vietnam's Circular 15/2022/TT-BKHCN, the requirements for individuals to register for national-level S&T tasks in Vietnam include:
- Having a university degree or higher;
- Having relevant expertise and being active in the field of science and technology in accordance with the content of national science and technology tasks in the last 3 years, up to the time of application submission;
- Being able to directly organize the implementation and ensure enough time to assume the prime responsibility for the performance of national science and technology tasks;
- Not falling into one of the cases specified in Clause 4, Article 6 of Vietnam's Circular 15/2022/TT-BKHCN, for example as follows:
+ At the time of submitting the application for registration to participate in the selection, directly assigned to be in charge of other national-level science and technology tasks;
+ At the time of submitting the application for registration to participate in the selection, the person who has not submitted the application for assessment and acceptance of other national-level scientific and technological tasks under his/her management after 30 days from the end of the contract performance period, including the extended period (if any);
+ At the time of application for participation in the selection, the direct assignment had not yet completed the registration, submission, and retention of results of other national-level scientific and technological tasks funded by the state budget of which the individual is the head;...
Vietnam's Circular 15/2022/TT-BKHCN takes effect from December 1, 2022.
