Requirements for Educational Institutions Providing Distance Learning and Guided Self-study

Recently, the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs has issued Circular 33/2018/TT-BLDTBXH stipulating the training for college, intermediate, and primary levels in the form of distance learning and guided self-study.

organizations conducting training in the form of distance learning and self-study with guidance must meet the following requirements:

- The head of the training institution decides on the selection of training programs and reports to the state management agency;- Examination, review, and decision on exemption or reduction of subjects, modules, credits, satisfactory results, or modules, credits that the learner has accumulated prior to enrollment;- Examination and assessment of learners' knowledge and skills to decide on appropriate training program content;- Only teaching knowledge and skills in areas that the learner does not know, cannot perform, or cannot master fully and proficiently;- Ensuring interaction between the instructor and the learner, as well as between the learners.
