The State Bank has just issued Directive 02/CT-NHNN regarding urgent banking solutions to strengthen prevention, control, and overcome difficulties caused by the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) requests credit institutions to urgently and promptly carry out the following tasks:

- Seriously, decisively, and effectively implement tasks and solutions for epidemic prevention and control, and support customers affected by the epidemic according to the directives of the Governor of the SBV, Notification 35/TB-NHNN, Official Telegram 02/CD-NHNN, Circular 01/2020/TT-NHNN and the directives of the SBV regarding fee exemptions and reductions;- Closely monitor further directives from the Governor, relevant levels, and sectors to update, supplement, and promptly implement them;- Proactively develop detailed business scenarios aiming to ensure continuous business operations without interruptions under any circumstances;- Develop solutions to provide banking services for each epidemic scenario, in accordance with the epidemic control measures of the Government of Vietnam, the Prime Minister, and local authorities; and simultaneously, enhance the provision of electronic banking services;- …
