This is one of the options proposed in Resolution No. 58/NQ-CP on the simplification of administrative procedures and citizen documents related to population management under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Justice.
The content of the plan for simplifying the procedures for issuing Judicial Record Certificates for Vietnamese citizens is stipulated as follows:
- Removal of the requirement for copies of household registration books and temporary residence books for Vietnamese citizens;- Addition of the requirement to submit a copy of the citizen identification card when carrying out the procedure;- Removal of certain personal information in the Declaration Forms requesting the issuance of a judicial record certificate (Form No. 03/2013/TT-LLTP and Form No. 04/2014/TT-LLTP).
Additionally, the following are also abolished:
- The requirement for documents confirming the marital status of adoptive parents when performing domestic adoption registration procedures;- The requirement to submit a copy of personal identification documents when performing authentication procedures for Vietnamese citizens.
