Regulations on high school graduation exam 2021 in Vietnam: Additional subjects may be suspended from exams

Below is the notable content specified in Circular 05/2021/TT-BGDĐT amending the Regulation on high school graduation exam in Vietnam issued together with Circular 15/2020/TT-BGDĐT .

Specifically, in addition to violations listed last year, such as bringing illegal items into the exam room, taking the test questions out or receiving the solutions from outside, and writing and drawing on the paper to do the test with unrelated content, this year's candidates who committed the acts of not following the instructions of the supervisor or the lounge manager while moving to the waiting room shall also be suspended from the exam in Vietnam.

Vietnam's Exam regulations in 2021 also have some adjustments to enhance supervision, ensuring seriousness and objectivity. For example, in the stage of arranging exam rooms, candidates who have graduated high schools, candidates who have finished the high school program but not yet graduated high school in previous years, post-secondary school graduates who are going to sit the exam and continuing education candidates shall be arranged to take the exam together with 12th graders of high schools in the year of exam.
