Regime for officials holding the chief position who wish to resign in Vietnam

According to Vietnam's Instruction, officials with chief position or equivalent in Vietnam but could not be arranged by organizational arrangement or apparatus to continue to hold the chief position or equivalent or wish to resign, shall be considered by the competent managing officials the as :

- In case the working period is less than 05 years (60 months) from the time of organization and apparatus arrangement or from the time the competent authority receives the request from the officials to resign from leadership or management, they shall be:

Considered, arranged suitable work, and entitled to reserve Vietnam's current regimes and policies until retirement.

- In case the working time is more than 05 years (60 months) from the time of organization and apparatus arrangement or from the time the competent authority receives the request from the officials to stop leading or managing, they shall be:

Considered and arranged suitable jobs and entitled to retain the existing regimes and policies until the end of the term of holding the position (5 years from the date of appointment or the time limit stated in the appointment decision).

After the reservation period, the agency managing officials shall base themselves on the requirements of tasks, work results, qualities, and capacities to consider and decide according to their competence.
