Reduction of One-Third Seniority Criteria for Awards to Female Officers

This is a noteworthy new point in the implementation of commendation and reward work in the transportation sector as stipulated in Circular 13/2018/TT-BGTVT.

For female leaders and managers, the time required in a position to be considered for commendation for contributions is reduced by one-third compared to the common regulation; currently, the regulation allows for a reduction of 3 years.

In cases where the retirement age is regulated to be higher, the time required in a position to be considered for commendation for contributions follows the common regulation.

If there are multiple individuals or groups equally qualified and meeting the criteria, preference is given to female individuals or groups with a female ratio of 70% or more for the commendation consideration.

Additionally, commendations for specific periods or thematic contributions are not counted as conditions or standards for State-level commendation proposals.

More details can be found in Circular 13/2018/TT-BGTVT, effective from May 15, 2018, replacing Circular 22/2015/TT-BGTVT.
