Reduction of at least 20% in the number of periodic reports

This is one of the important objectives of the "Scheme on simplification of reporting policies in the activities of state administrative agencies" approved by the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam in Decision 559/QD-TTg dated April 24, 2017.

To simplify reporting policies in the operations of state administrative agencies, the Prime Minister has set forth the following specific goals:

- Reduce by at least 20% the number of periodic reports that do not meet management requirements, eliminate duplicate and unnecessary report contents;- Establish a unified legal framework for reporting policies towards innovation and reducing administrative burdens while ensuring that reports are carried out according to proper procedures, principles, periods, and deadlines.- By 2020, the national reporting information system will be fundamentally completed and operational, ensuring that reports are carried out online, accurately, fully, and promptly; with integration, connectivity, and sharing capabilities.
