Recruitment of talented Individuals for work of legal advisory in Vietnam

Regarding the task "Attracting, recruiting, and employing talented individuals for legislative advisory work," Decision 916/QD-TTg specifies the following details:

- Seek and identify individuals of exemplary moral character and lifestyle, with the aspiration to contribute and serve the Nation and the People, who possess exceptional creative abilities to be attracted and recruited for legislative advisory work at ministries, central authorities, and local authorities.

- Implement policies to attract and employ talented individuals from the non-governmental sector for legislative advisory work at ministries, central authorities, and local authorities.

- Encourage and emphasize the responsibility of those who identify, introduce, and refer talented individuals for legislative advisory work.

- Develop programs and plans to cooperate and link with domestic and foreign educational and training institutions to educate and train talented individuals for legislative advisory work as per the requirements of each agency and unit.

Simultaneously, the Prime Minister also requires enhancing the capacity of officials involved in legislative advisory work by undertaking the following tasks:

- Regard the quality of human resources engaged in legislative advisory work as one of the breakthroughs to improve the quality of legal construction.

- Establish and maintain a team of approximately 300 officials with adequate knowledge, superior capacity, and experience in legislative work to become the core force in fostering, leading, and developing the human resources for legislative advisory work at ministries, central authorities, and localities.

- Develop programs, innovate methods, and elevate the quality of professional training and workshops.

More details can be found in Decision 916/QD-TTg, which comes into force in Vietnam from August 27, 2024.
