Rates of payment for retired Trade Union cadres

The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor issued Decision 4291/QD-TLD dated March 1, 2022, promulgating Regulations on standards, norms, and spending regimes in trade union agencies.

Accordingly, the payment regime for retired cadres in trade union agencies is as follows:

- Expenses for giving gifts to cadres and civil servants in trade union agencies when they retire:

+ General Confederation: Maximum spending: 4,000,000 VND/person.

+ Confederation of Labor at provincial, city and equivalent levels; The grassroots direct superior trade union: Maximum spending: 3,000,000 VND/person.

(CBCC retires at any unit paid by that unit)

- Expenses for visiting full-time retired trade union officials in trade union agencies, on the occasion of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union and the Lunar New Year, the maximum spending level is 300,000 VND/person/time.

- Expenses for visiting civil servants in retired trade union agencies with serious illnesses, the maximum spending level is 1,000,000 VND/person/time/year.

- Expenses to pay tribute to civil servants in the union agencies who have retired and died, the maximum spending level is 1,000,000 VND/person and money to buy incense and flowers.

Decision 4291/QD-TLD takes effect from March 1, 2022.
