Recently, the Ministry of National Defense issued Decision 2910/QD-BQP announcing newly promulgated administrative procedures and abolishing administrative procedures related to the Militia and Self-Defense Forces under the management functions of the Ministry of National Defense of Vietnam.
Issued together with Decision 2910/QD-BQP is a list of 03 new administrative procedures in the field of Militia and Self-Defense under the management scope of the Ministry of National Defense of Vietnam, including:
- Procedures for payment of medical examination and treatment costs for Militia and Self-Defense members who do not participate in health insurance if they fall ill, have an accident, or get injured;
- Procedures for allowances for Militia and Self-Defense members who do not participate in social insurance if they have an accident or die;
- Procedures for the establishment and dissolution of Militia and Self-Defense units, Commune-level Military Command Boards, Military Command Boards of agencies, and organizations; appointment and relief of command positions of Militia and Self-Defense.
At the same time, this Decision also abolishes 03 administrative procedures in the field of Militia and Self-Defense of Vietnam. These procedures include:
- Establishment of self-defense units in enterprises;
- Allowances for militia members who fall ill or for their relatives when the illness leads to death;
- Allowances for militia members who have an accident or for their relatives when the accident leads to death.
