On November 12, 2022, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has issued an Official Dispatch No.7197/BCT-TTTN on review and proposal for amendments to regulations on petrol and oil trading. On November 12, 2022, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam issued Official Dispatch on reviewing and proposing amendments and supplements to regulations on petrol and oil trading.
Proposed amendments to 08 regulations on petrol and oil operation and trading according to this Official Dispatch:
- Petrol and oil price regulation cycle;
- Regulations on discount rates in petrol and oil trading;
- Petrol and oil retail agents can get petrol and oil from many sources;
- Rights and obligations of petrol and oil distributors;
- Rights and obligations of petrol and oil wholesalers;
- Uniform management of petrol and oil by the State;
- Management and use of Petrol and Oil Price Stabilization Fund;
- Amendments to Decrees on penalties for administrative violations against regulations on petrol and oil trading
According to Resolution No. 143/NQ-CP dated November 04, 2022, Official Telegram No. 1085/CD-TTg dated November 11, 2022, the Ministry of Industry and Trade is assigned to take charge, review and propose amendments to Decree No. 83/2014/ND-CP and Decree No. 95/2021/ND-CP on petrol and oil trading according to simplified procedures; report to the Government in November 2022.
