Promulgating the Regulations on the Use of Attire in the Court Sector

The Supreme People's Court has just issued Decision No. 1738/QD-TANDTC on promulgating the regulations on the issuance, use, and management of uniforms, Judge identification cards, People's Assessor identification cards, Judicial title certificates, and People's Court certificates.

Judge, Lay Judge, civil servant, and employee must comply with the regulations on the daily attire during work hours or when performing their duties as follows:

- Summer attire: dark purple trousers, white shirt tucked in, wearing the Judge insignia, name tag on the left chest.- Winter attire: dark purple suit, long-sleeve white shirt tucked in, wearing the Judge insignia, name tag on the left chest.

However, the use of attire may be adjusted during the transitional period between summer and winter or in regions with varying daily weather conditions. Changes will be decided by the Chief Justice of the Court.

Decision 1738/QD-TANDTC took effect from November 23, 2017.
