Promulgating the List of titles, leadership and management positions, and equivalent positions within the Trade Union system in Vietnam

The List of titles, leadership and management positions, and equivalent positions within the Trade Union system in Vietnam is issued together with the Decision 2608/QD-TLD.

This includes titles under the management of the Politburo, titles managed by the Secretariat, Deputy General Director and equivalent positions, Department Director and Deputy Department Director, Head and Deputy Head of Division. Along with these are equivalent titles and positions.

For example, the equivalent titles and positions at the Department Director level within the Trade Union system include:

- Head of Department and equivalent positions of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.

- Dedicated Chairman of the central sector trade unions and equivalent, corporate trade unions under the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.

- Chairman of the school council, Rector of the Trade Union University, Ton Duc Thang University.

- Editor-in-Chief of Labor Newspaper; Director - Editor-in-Chief of the Labor Publishing House.

- Head of the Trade Union Project Management Board, Director of the Institute for Strategic Research and Labor - Trade Union Journal, Director of the Institute of Labor Safety and Hygiene Science.

- Chairman of the Hanoi City Federation of Labor and the Ho Chi Minh City Federation of Labor.

- Standing Vice Chairman (dedicated) of central sector trade unions and equivalent, where positions concurrently involve the role of Chairman of central sector trade unions and equivalent.

- Dedicated Chairman of trade union offices of ministries, ministerial-level agencies (committees, sectors, central unions) which are trade unions directly above the grassroots level.

- Director of the Federation's Guesthouse.

- Chairman of the Members' Council of Vietnam Trade Union Tourism One Member Limited Liability Company.

- Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietnam Trade Union Printing Joint Stock Company.

- Chairman of the labor federation of provinces and centrally affiliated cities.

Note: For trade unions in central public service providers that are trade unions directly above the grassroots level:

+ The position of dedicated trade union chairman is equivalent to the position of department director, head of the affiliated unit of that public service provider.

+ The position of dedicated trade union vice chairman is equivalent to the position of deputy department director, deputy head of the affiliated unit of that public service provider.

+ The position of dedicated member of the standing committee of the trade union is equivalent to the position of head of department/division of that public service provider.
