Prolongation of support duration for agricultural insurance premium in Vietnam

On May 09, 2022, the Prime Minister of Vietnam issued the Decision No. 13/2022/QD-TTg on the implementation of agricultural insurance subsidy policy in which the support period for agricultural insurance premiums is extended in Vietnam.

According to this Decision, the period of support for agriculture insurance premium in Vietnam is from June 24, 2022 to December 31, 2025
(Currently, the period of subsidy on agricultural insurance premium in Vietnam is June 26, 2019 and December 31, 2021 inclusive.
Subsidized subjects of agricultural insurance in Vietnam:
- Plants: rice, rubber, pepper, cashew, coffee.
- Animals: Buffaloes, cows, pigs.
- Aquaculture: giant tiger prawns, whiteleg shrimps, pangasius fish.
The Decision No. 13/2022/QD-TTg comes into force from June 24, 2022 to December 31, 2025 inclusive and replaces the Decision No. 22/2019/QD-TTg dated June 26, 2019 and the Decision No. 03/2021/QĐ-TTg dated January 25, 2021.
