Recently, the Office of the Government of Vietnam issued Notice 326/TB-VPCP on the conclusion of Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam Nguyen Xuan Phuc at the meeting of the Standing Committee of the Government of Vietnam on the prevention and control of COVID-19.
After hearing the report from the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control, the report from the Office of the Government of Vietnam, comments from the Deputy Prime Ministers and delegates attending the meeting, the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam requests the People's Committees of provinces and centrally-administered cities to direct the following:
- Fully implement the preventive measures according to the guidelines of the Ministry of Health: wear masks when leaving home, at places and on public transportation; regularly wash hands with soap or sanitizer solutions; limit gathering in large groups in public places; maintain a safe distance when interacting, gradually forming habits and lifestyles suitable to the new situation to ensure safety for individuals and society;- Strengthen inspection, ensure the implementation of preventive measures in the new situation; issue sanctions for violations of regulations on disease prevention;- Proactively prepare scenarios and respond to situations of disease outbreaks in the locality;- Strictly prohibit the application of measures that "block rivers, close markets," restrict travel, and limit trade. Do not require SAR-CoV2 testing for people coming from places where the disease has been eradicated in the community; only test those showing symptoms of cough, fever.
