Prohibition on Civil Servants and Employees Sharing Internal Information on Facebook

Vietnam Social Security has just issued the Code of Conduct for officials and public employees, and workers working in the Vietnam Social Security system under Decision 889/QD-BHXH dated July 16, 2018.

Officials and public employees working in units under the Vietnam Social Security system must adhere to ethical standards, public service conduct, office culture, etc. In particular, officials and public employees are strictly prohibited from the following actions:

- Posting or sharing internal information and images of the Sector, agency, or unit on social media;- Unauthorized provision of documents and materials related to the activities of the agency, unit, or sector to outsiders without the consent of an authorized person;- Organizing weddings, funerals, longevity celebrations, birthdays, etc., with the purpose of ostentation or personal gain;- Using official working hours to perform private tasks;- Accepting gifts from individuals or organizations related to the work they handle;- Gambling, participating in social evils, superstition.
