Prohibition on Advertising and Selling Carbonated Soft Drinks in Educational Institutions

This is one of the directives issued by the Prime Minister in Directive 46/CT-TTg regarding Strengthening nutrition work in the new situation.

in order to fulfill the nutritional targets of Resolution 20-NQ/TW on enhancing the work of protection, care, and improvement of people's health, the Prime Minister requires the Ministry of Education and Training to focus on directing the implementation of the following tasks:

- No advertising or trading of alcoholic beverages, carbonated soft drinks, and unhealthy foods within schools;- Organize school meals to ensure reasonable nutrition and implement the school milk program;- Enhance the integration of educational programs for behavioral change regarding proper nutrition and suitable physical activity for children and students;- Monitor and supervise the nutritional status, nutritional interventions, and nutritional care for children and students.
