Prohibition of Teachers from Commenting on Inappropriate Content Contrary to Traditional Customs on Facebook

This is one of the general codes of conduct listed in Circular 06/2019/TT-BGDDT, which stipulates the code of conduct in preschools, general education institutions, and continuing education institutions.

Teachers are not allowed to use social media to disseminate, propagate, or comment on information or images that are contrary to traditional customs, the guidelines of the Communist Party, the policies, and laws of the State, or that negatively impact the educational environment.

In addition to teachers, the aforementioned regulation also applies to administrators, staff, students, and parents of students in educational institutions.

Circular 06/2019/TT-BGDDT also stipulates that when interacting within educational institutions, the following other rules must be observed, such as:

- Practicing a healthy and positive lifestyle, and showing concern by sharing and helping others;- Not wearing clothing that is offensive;- Not smoking or using alcoholic beverages within the educational institution;- …
