The Chief Procurator of the Supreme People's Procuracy has just promulgated Decision 399/QD-VKSTC of 2019 regulating the process and skills for supervising judgments and rulings on the resolution of civil cases by the Court.

In the case where the Procuracy participates in a trial of a civil case, the following procedures must be carried out upon receiving the judgment or decision transferred from the Court:

- Enter the judgment or decision into the supervisory registration book;- Prepare a Supervisory Form according to Form No. 14/DS;- Supplement necessary documents and materials into the supervisory file;- Supervise the form and content of the judgment or decision; request the Court or individually verify and collect documents and evidence, except in cases where the judgment or decision has already come into legal effect;- Send copies of the judgment or decision along with the Supervisory Form to the competent Procuracy;- Draft a petition or decision of protest in case a violation is detected.

In cases where the Procuracy does not participate in the trial, before adding documents, it may request the Court to transfer the file for consideration of a protest.
