Process of examining the national target program on economic development of ethnic minority areas in Vietnam

This is the content of the Circular 01/2022/TT-UBDT on May 26, 2022, regulating the process of monitoring and evaluating the implementation of the National Target Program on social-economic development of ethnic minority and mountainous areas in Vietnam.

Accordingly, the process of examining the National Target Program on socio-economic development of ethnic minority and mountainous areas in Vietnam in the period 2021-2030; Phase I: from 2021 to 2025 is as follows:

- Plan to check the Program:

+ Competent agencies shall decide on the contents of program implementation inspection; issue inspection plans, notify inspection plans to the inspected units;

+ The competent agency shall decide on the establishment of the inspection team, assign the team leader and members of the inspection team in Vietnam.

- Conducting the inspection of the Program:

+ The inspection team shall coordinate with concerned agencies to conduct the inspection as planned.

+ Collect documents, guidelines, reports of localities and organizations and individuals related to the implementation of the Program in Vietnam.

+ Consult staff at all levels; survey the reality in communes and villages on the inspection contents; dialogue and consultation with the beneficiaries on the level of participation and benefits in the implementation of the program's contents and activities.

- Program Inspection Report:

The inspection team shall send the inspection report within ten (10) working days after at the end of the inspection to the competent agency for synthesis and reporting to the superior agency in Vietnam.

Circular 01/2022 /TT-UBDT takes effect from July 15, 2022.
