Procedures for organizing the assessment of digital transformation levels for Departments of Education and Training of Vietnam

The process for organizing the assessment of the digital transformation level for the Departments of Education and Training, as well as the Divisions of Education and Training, is conducted in accordance with the provisions in Section 6, Article 1 Decision 3806/QD-BGDDT of 2024 as follows:

- Local educational management agencies self-assessment

+ Annually, the local educational management agencies shall organize self-assessment of the digital transformation level based on this Decision.

+ The Head of the Divisions of Education and Training approves the self-assessment results and reports the results to the Departments of Education and Training before June 25 each year.

+ The Director of the Departments of Education and Training approves the self-assessment results and reports the assessment results to the Ministry of Education and Training (through the education sector database system) before June 30 each year.

- Review, inspect, and recognize the results

+ The Ministry of Education and Training (through the Information Technology Department) shall organize the review, inspection, and recognition of the digital transformation level of the Departments of Education and Training based on actual conditions; and announce the assessment results on the Ministry of Education and Training's electronic portal.

+ The Departments of Education and Training shall organize the review, inspection, and recognition of the digital transformation level of the Offices of Education and Training; update the assessment results on the education sector's database system before June 30 each year, and announce the assessment results on the electronic portal of the Departments of Education and Training.

Additionally, the Structure of the Set of Indicators contains 02 groups of component criteria as stipulated in Section 4, Article 1 of Decision 3806/QD-BGDDT of 2024 as follows:

- The group of criteria for digital transformation in “Leadership, management, and administration work”.

- The group of criteria for digital transformation in “Digital transformation outcomes in educational institutions”.

Details of the Set of Indicators are provided in the Appendix attached to Decision 3806/QD-BGDDT of 2024.
