Procedures for online submission of application for unemployment benefit in Vietnam

On May 04, 2022, the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs promulgates the Official Dispatch No. 1399/LDTBXH-VL on receipt and provision of unemployment benefits on the National Public Service Portal of Vietnam.

Accordingly, the process of receipt and settlement of unemployment benefits for employees on the national public service in Vietnam portal includes 05 steps.

Where, the workers need to take the following steps:

- Register accounts and log in the National Public Service Portal of Vietnam.

- After receiving the application, the worker in Vietnam shall seek and choose to receive the unemployment benefit.

01 enclosed with the Official Dispatch No. 1399/LDTBXH-VL dated May 04, 2022.

- Attached documents: photocopies or scans of documents proving the termination of the labor contract or working contract as prescribed.

After the same application, the worker in Vietnam shall send it to the employment service center affiliated to the Service of Labor of Vietnam, War Invalids and Social Affairs for consideration of Vietnam.
