Procedures for Notification on the Conduct of Off-premises Sales Activities in Vietnam

Appendix issued with Decision 1372/QD-BCT dated June 05, 2024, guides the notification procedures for conducting off-premises sales activities in Vietnam as follows:

- Organizations and individuals engaged in business must notify the People's Committee of the commune in Vietnam where the sales of products, goods, and provision of services are organized.

- The notification dossier must be sent to the People's Committee of the commune at least 03 working days before the activity is carried out (based on the receipt date recorded by the People's Committee of the commune on the postal waybill or equivalent forms of value in case of postal submission, based on the receipt date on the dossier receipt certificate in case of direct submission, based on the recorded time on the email system, or based on the recorded date on the system in case of online public service submission).

- In cases of amendments or additions to the content of activities previously notified to the People's Committee of the commune, organizations, and individuals engaged in business must notify the amendments or additions to the People's Committee of the commune where the initial notification was made.

The People's Committee of the commune shall publicly disclose the full content of the notifications of organizations and individuals engaged in business in a suitable form so that consumers within the locality are informed. The disclosure shall be conducted before and during the period when the sales activities and service provision of the organizations and individuals engaged in business take place within the locality.
