Procedures for issuing and re-issuing Intermodal Licenses between Vietnam and Cambodia from January 1, 2025

The procedures for issuing and reissuing Intermodal Licenses between Vietnam and Cambodia are implemented according to the provisions of Clause 7, Article 59 of Decree 158/2024/ND-CP as follows:

- Organizations, individuals, or transportation business units submit 01 set of documents to the competent authority in charge of issuing permits through one of the following methods: directly, online, or via postal service. The competent authority in charge of issuing permits receives and checks the documents.

If documents are submitted directly at the competent authority or via postal service, the officer receiving the documents updates the information of the correct documents into the online public service system of the competent authority. If the documents need amendment or supplementation, the competent authority will notify directly, in writing, or through the online public service system to the organization, individual, or transportation business unit within 01 working day from the receipt date;

- Within 02 working days from the receipt of complete and valid documents as prescribed, the competent authority in charge of issuing permits will issue the permit according to Form No. 06 (for commercial vehicles) and Form No. 07 (for non-commercial vehicles) Appendix XII issued with Decree 158/2024/ND-CP. In case of refusal, the competent authority in charge of issuing permits will notify in writing or through the online public service system and clearly state the reasons;

- The result delivery is conducted at the headquarters of the competent authority in charge of issuing permits or via postal service as prescribed.
