Procedure for Remote Sensing Image Control Measurement

On June 06, 2017, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment issued Circular 08/2017/TT-BTNMT stipulating the procedure for remote sensing image control measurement.

The implementation of remote sensing image control measurement shall follow the sequence of the following 8 steps:

- Preparation work;- Selecting control points for remote sensing images in the office;- Designing a diagram for the connection of remote sensing image control points;- Determining control points and inspection points in the field;- Measuring and processing data of remote sensing image control points using GNSS technology or electronic total station or electronic theodolite;- Adjusting remote sensing image control points;- Inspecting and accepting the results of remote sensing image control point measurements;- Submitting the results of remote sensing image control point measurements.
