Procedure for Publicizing the Resolution of Taxpayer Complaints

On October 24, 2017, the General Department of Taxation issued Decision No. 1848/QD-TCT promulgating the Procedure for Publicizing the Steps for Resolving Taxpayer Complaints and the Results of Resolving Complaints at Tax Authorities at All Levels.

The Tax Authority publicly resolves taxpayer complaints on the tax sector's electronic information portal with the following content:

- Documents responding to taxpayers during the complaint resolution process and the results of complaint resolution;- Full text of documents responding to taxpayers during the complaint resolution process and the results of complaint resolution.

Note: Do not publicly disclose information, documents about the verification and investigation of complaints that the tax system has not announced (implemented according to Decision 636/QD-TCT dated April 25, 2017).

For any content already published publicly on the electronic information portal, if errors or mistakes are found, corrections must be made.

See details in Decision 1848/QD-TCT effective from the date of signing. The official implementation of the public disclosure process is applicable from January 1, 2018.
