Procedure for Evaluation and Classification of Officials and Public Employees in the Court

Recently, the Supreme People's Court issued Decision 01/QD-TANDTC promulgating regulations on the assessment and classification of officials and public employees, and workers of the people's court.

The evaluation and classification of officials and public employees in the court are carried out in the following sequence:

- Step 1: Officials and public employees self-assess their work performance according to the evaluation form; the person holding a management position collects written evaluation opinions from the party committee at the workplace and the residential area committee;- Step 2: The person holding a leadership position presides over the organization of a meeting of all officials, public employees, and workers of the unit to provide feedback on the content of the evaluation form;- Step 3: Before December 5 each year, the person holding a leadership position in the departments and units prepares a dossier proposing the evaluation of the officials and public employees of their unit and reports it to the head of the unit;- Step 4: Based on the evaluation proposal dossier of officials and public employees, the head of the unit evaluates and announces the evaluation results before December 10 each year.
