Prime Minister's request: To develop plan to vaccinate students against COVID-19 in Vietnam

Below is the remarkable content specified in Directive 24/CT-TTg dated 03/9/2021 on accelerating the implementation of tasks and solutions for organizing safe teaching, ensuring the quality of education and training programs and goals in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Specifically, to implement the 2021–202 school year plan, the Prime Minister of Vietnam requested the Ministry of Health of Vietnam to implement:

- To instruct students on epidemic prevention and control measures and ensure safety in the school's epidemic prevention and control.

- To develop a specific plan on vaccination against COVID-19 for elementary, junior high, high school, and vocational education students (under 18 years old).

In addition, the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam is required to focus on performing a number of key tasks, such as:

- To develop and implement a flexible school year plan, creating favorable conditions for students to study while ensuring their health, completing the educational program as planned, and ensuring the quality of education. of each grade level.

- To coordinate with the Ministry of Health of Vietnam and People's Committees of provinces and cities to organize immunization for students at all levels after specialized agencies have instructions on vaccination against COVID-19 for people under 18 years old...

- Guidelines to build a system of exam questions, tests, and question banks for organizing exams, testing, and evaluating in an appropriate online form
