Prime Minister of Vietnam: To urge the completion of tasks after Lunar New Year holiday 2021

Recently, the Prime Minister of Vietnam issued Directive 06/CT-TTg on urging the completion of tasks after the Lunar New Year holiday in 2021.

From the first working day after the Tet holiday, the Prime Minister of Vietnam requires ministries, agencies, and localities to strictly grasp and focus on implementing it from the first working day after the Tet holiday, such as:

The Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of Vietnam and localities will strengthen the management of cultural activities, sports, tourism, and spring festivals associated with safety to prevent and control the COVID-19 epidemic as well as reduce or eliminate festival activities and mass gatherings to reduce the possibility of disease spread.
The Ministry of Education and Training shall assume the prime responsibility for, and coordinate with the Ministry of Health and relevant agencies in, guiding localities, educational and training institutions on the return of students to school; the organization of schooling in association with the prevention and control of the COVID-19 epidemic; the transition to online learning to secure the curriculum;

The Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs of Vietnam actively coordinates with localities to promptly take appropriate solutions to limit labor shortages after the Tet holiday, especially in industrial parks and export processing zones;
